Tips For Your Cafe

1) Do not yell at each other in the kitchen, in English or in Spanish. We hear you and we understand. 2) Get my order right. I did not order anything special, it was straight off the menu. If you serve specialty coffees, get those right, too. 3) Be sure I have utensils, napkin, water. 4) Do not apologize and add “we are so busy”. If you are that busy, you don’t need my business. 5) Turn down the music so we can have a conversation. I know you are happy but it also helps if you are not whistling or singing along. 6) It may be warm in the kitchen but sitting here is cold. Keep the temperature comfortable for the customers. 7) Greet me and smile. 8) Don’t touch my glass at the rim and please use the handles of the silverware, too. 9) Clean the bathroom. 10) If I send something back because it is cold, stale, or otherwise not what I ordered, apologize and make it right.
