It is sad that of the 132 comments on my blog, 129 were spam bots. Robot programs, entering into a blog to “comment” when in actuality, they want to give the readers a link to their page. I am hunted by fake Louis Vuitton handbags, among other things. All I can do is mark them as spam instead of approving them. WordPress, the site that I use for my blog, is an open source program. Since the people who create open source are usually volunteers, it takes time for bugs to be worked out. So far, I like WordPress, it only has this one bug that has plagued me and I can live with it. Would I trade these spam bots for regulation of the Internet? No way.
