About Shahri

Growing up at Lake Tahoe, Shahri has the kind of local knowledge that comes from living in the Lake Tahoe Basin for over 50 years. She started her real estate career in 1988 and soon became a top producing agent and well respected within the real estate community. In January of 2014, after nearly 26 years as an active real estate agent, Shahri took a leave of absence to pursue other paths. For five and a half years, she wore many hats and each of those hats made her more well-rounded and more capable for her return to real estate in May of 2019.

Shahri was her husband’s primary advocate and caregiver as he battled cancer (and lost). She adjusted to being the mom of an adult. Shahri taught English as a second language to Latin American business people at a language immersion school. She worked as the client liaison, governmental permit specialist, and construction manager for an architectural and construction firm. Shahri is an artist, specifically abstract paintings, with art shows and commissioned works. She wrote and published her third book “Me and the Other Women – Stories of Female Relationships That Shape Our Lives” which was on the Amazon best seller list. Shahri is a minimalist, helping people clear the clutter in their homes, their hearts, and their minds. She worked as a Girl Friday, a caterer’s assistant, a retail clerk, ghost writer, baby sitter, house keeper, business coach, and assistant to people who want to do owner-builder projects. On May 1, 2019 Shahri returned to her long-time career as a real estate agent, this time as the broker of her own company.

Shahri’s sabbatical has given her a broader perspective on life which granted her a unique ability her to serve her client’s needs in a deeper, more personal way.
